Ever wanted to learn modern brush calligraphy or personalise your own greeting cards?
Come join Michelle from Dovetail Together and pick up a pen and join us for a relaxed, creative evening of modern calligraphy and card making.

Whether you are completely new to calligraphy or looking to develop your lettering skills, this beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect place to slow down, unwind and discover a new creative hobby.

During this two-hour workshop you will learn the foundations of modern brush calligraphy through step-by-step guidance, exploring the flow of each letter before experimenting with lettering, scale and different styles. You will also create beautiful personalised greetings cards to take home. You don't need to be "arty", just come along with an open mind and enjoy the simple pleasure of putting pen to paper.

You will leave with your own:
  • Step-by-step calligraphy workbook
  • Brush pen
  • Selection of stationery
  • Hand-lettered cards you have created during the workshop
Everything is provided, so simply bring yourself and enjoy an evening of creativity, conversation and a little time just for you. Refreshments and snacks will be available throughout the evening.

Places are limited to 10, so book early to avoid disappointment. 

Pay it Forward - This system puts funds in reserve for future participants in need. It helps make some of what we have now, available when it is most needed, this can be done by paying a little extra or when a participant is unable to attend, the deposit can be used towards this 'Make someone's day goes a long way!
